Are you looking for a better way to manage your email and projects? So are we! In our never-ending search for increased productivity in our businesses, and resources that make life easier, we discovered a resource called ActiveInbox – a “better Gmail plugin.”
According to ActiveInbox’s website you’ll 1) never forget an important actionable item again, 2) move your projects and goals forward, and 3) flow through your emails faster.
Here’s what happens…
Sign into your Google account (or Google Apps account), and search the Google Marketplace for ActiveInbox. After a quick download and install, a new set of labels and a new tool bar are installed on your Gmail account. As you read through the incoming emails, you can move them to folders such as Action, Waiting On, Some Day and/or move them into specific project folders that you create. Of course you have the ability to customize the labels and folders if the default titles don’t resonate with you. And these tasks and projects sync with your phone / PDA as well. Awesome!
So for those trying to reach “Inbox Zero” and the principles of David Allen’s Getting Things Done, ActiveInbox is our suggestion.
